Lose the Facebook login!

what a waste, what could have been a good app forces users to have a Facebook account….duh! goodbye

Info cannot be added about a WiFi hotspot EXCEPT by signing in via Facebook. No other way. So if dont use Facebook, youll need to now just to use the app as designed. Really, only one way to sign in??? Really.

Help the rest of us use your app... Give an alternative to Facebook login

Could be a great app. Who knows. Add email login option not Facebook "bug all my friends" requirement.

I see 1 hotspot around me and 2yr old foursquare comment, when no one uses them in years. Just another clone of WiFi Map. This app is has no use.

Great interface, super easy to use, just what I need as a frequent traveller!

Opened the app and it started right up. No FB log-in required contrary to past reviews

Results are far worse than other WiFi apps and there is considerable lag in obtaining results. Worst of all, they force you to use Facebook if you want to log in. Then they bother the heck out of your entire friend list pushing their other crappy products.

I tried to mark my home wifi as private and it turned around and said it was free. Not good.

After all these weeks of waiting, I finally downloaded this app with high expectation as the other app works so great. But it opens the intro page and gets stuck on the first page. I rebooted the phone, reinstalled it, and still doesnt work. Now that I read this review that I need to use Facebook for login, its time to say goodbye.

You can use the app but in order to participate, you DO need to log in with FB...no thanks.

Update: looks like the main other complaint is the need for FB login to comment. Doesnt seem like a big deal to me. Works great for me either way so Im sticking to 5 stars. Im on a limited data plan and so tethering is a no go for me. So Im really excited to use this app - I spend a lot of time on the road and finding reliable wifi is always a challenge. The UI looks great and there are way more results than any of the other apps Ive tried.

If you do not have a Facebook account to log into (for them to share, aggregate the data), this app is absolutely useless to you. It also warns you that the data you submit is _not_ encrypted in any way and you must allow the app the to report your GPS coordinates at all times to UNKNOWN parties; something you cannot opt out of. This app seems to solely exist to report your coordinates to unknown parties only. Every aspect of this app is shady and mysterious. Stay away.

Nice app, didnt ask for registration, quick & accurate results in my town, =^) but no landscape orientation for my iPad that I need to use the most. =^( Lightweight: low memory use; beware some bloated wifi map apps

Generally very useful, but not able to change from Fahrenheit to Celsius... And Im guessing mile to meters too. I would prefer to have the option to change the unit of measurements for this app to truly be used worldwide.

I dont like this. Also the refresh is not realtime.

Wifi locations are accurate. I want there there to be a separate field for password entry so I wouldnt have to scroll through all the Foursquare comments.
